Even when the snow melts away Morzine is a beautiful place, with a great variety of alpine activities. The mountain scenery is breathtaking; there are fantastic walks with views across to the Dents Blanches mountain range and Mont Blanc.

In summer some of the ski trails are designated to VTT (mountain biking). The tracks offer everything from gentle family outings to near vertical cliffs for the dedicated kamikaze. We can pre-book expert local guides to take you trekking, VTT and biking - to amazing places you would never find on your own. We have power-washing facilities and secure storage for Mountain Bikes.

Nearby, there’s white-water rafting, canyoning, Via Ferrata, parapenting, pony trekking, adventure trails, and a golf course. In town, there are tennis courts, a heated Olympic size outdoor swimming pool, and on the ski slopes, a luge for all ages - we can book all these activities for you too.

Morzine is a terrific base for a touring holiday in the Northern Alps. If you come by car or hire one at the airport, you can explore Lake Geneva, the medieval village of Yvoire, (touristy but fascinating), Chateau Ripaille (formerly home of the Dukes of Savoy), the casino at Evian. You could lunch by the canals at Annecy or take a ride in the cable car up Mont Blanc (the highest mountain in Europe) at Chamonix. They’re all about an hour or less from Morzine.

Of course you could just relax on the balcony with a good book and a glass or two of the wine you’ve bought on a visit to a local Chateau.
